The NSD is a 3-inch, lighted integrated navigation situation display instrument which com- bines the directional gyro, omni-bearing selector and VOR/LOC course deviation indicator in one panel space-saving unit. This map-like perspective greatly simplifies visualization of heading and course intercept/tracking. The heading selector gives fingertip command of the autopilot with the easy-reading heading bug.
The basic SN3500 provides the equivalent of a 4” screen in a 3” instrument, and improves situational awareness by presenting Compass, Map, Flight Plan and RMI data in a bright, crisp, easy-to-read format. FAA certified as a primary flight display, the SN3500can even show overlaid Stormscope® weather and traffic information from TCAS or compatible Mode-S transponders.
The HS34 is an optional expansion module that extends the HSI function already built into and displayed on Dynon’s EFISs. This panel-mounted device not only expands the HSI functionality but also enables several new features for any Dynon EFIS, EMS or FlightDEK instrument to which it is networked.
The remote directional gyro provides accurate heading reference & stabilization for the Sandel SN3308 EHSI system. The model 4305 features a high inertia, long-life gyro spin motor and oversize gimbal bearing that withstand high vibration environments.
